About Studio 228 Contemporary Art Gallery
Our History
Studio 228 Contemporary Art Gallery opened to the public on The Festival of the Sacred Heart, June 7, 2024. Housed inside Studio 228 in Pensacola's most iconic historic building, the Historic Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, the Gallery is host to a wide range of events throughout the year, including artist talks, workshops, and special exhibitions. Our events are designed to bring people together and foster a sense of community and excitement around contemporary art.
We welcome visitors of all ages and backgrounds to join us.
Our Mission
Our mission at Studio 228 Contemporary Art Gallery is to seek out, celebrate and support emerging and underrepresented artists working in any medium from across the U.S. and around the world, and share their artistic vision with the international art community.
